The Wild Thing Pre Workout is argued to be the flagship energy supplement from Assault Labs. It is one of the few pre workout options on the market which is a made up of a combination of creatine, amino acids, nootropics and other nutrients.

This is more for boosting focus in Assault Labs Wild Thing. Choline has been seen in plenty of research to help promote cognition.
After cosumption, choline turns into acetylcholine – the learning neurotransmitter.
This can help improve your overall focus which is great for keeping your mind razor sharp and motivated while training hard in the gym.
One of the better ingredients in Wild Thing Pre Workout. Creatine is a great amino acid for improving your performance in the gym.

When combined with caffeine it can help to manage the jitters of the stimulant while also allowing you to focus more. It gives you that energetic boost from the stimulant, with better control and direction. This combination is sometimes used in nootropics for similar reasons.
Phenyltheylamine isn’t a great choice in Wild Thing Pre Workout.
It’s an amino acid which has been seen in some cases to promote mood. However, research has shown that in some cases it is broken down too quickly after being absorbed which sometimes stops it from delivering any benefits altogether.
This is one of the more risky choices in Wild Thing. Higenamine is structurally similar to the banned fat burner ephedrine.
Higenamine is thought to boost energy and burn fat when supplemented correctly. However there is limited to research to show this is actually the case.
Not only that, Higenamine is thought to cause some side effects such as irregular heartbeat.

This is more of a fat burner in Wild Thing Pre Workout. Hordenine Hydrochloride is found in a very small amount in several foods.
It may have some fat burning effects, but there is not enough research to fully confirm this.
In addition, hordenine has been reported to cause several side effects to some users. It’s technically a stimulant and has links to causing rapid heart rate and high blood pressure.
N-Phenylacetyl-L-Prolylglycine Ethyl Ester (Noopept)
Noopept is the branded version of N-Phenylacetyl-L-Prolylglycine Ethyl Ester in Pre Workout Wild Thing.
It has been seen in some cases to deliver a mild cognitive boost and help to reduce long-term cognitive decline.
Noopept is going to give you some mild cognitive benefits in Wild Thing by Assault Labs.
Toothed Clubmoss (Huperzia Serrata)
The final ingredient that we’re covering in this review: Toothed Clubmoss.
So what can it do in Wild Thing Pre Workout?
It’s mainly used for a component in it known as Huperzine A which is thought to work as cognitive enhancer.
However, research has shown that this cognitive booster is easy to build a tolerance to. Not only that, but some claim it also causes side effects with long term use such as headaches and more. We suggest you be careful with this nutrient.

Don’t get us wrong, we like a lot of what’s used here but ingredients like the Beta Alanine, Huperzine A, Hordenine, Higenamine and a few others weren’t exactly what we’re looking for. They have potential side effects.
It’s also worth noting that the Wild Thin Pre Workout Caffeine Content is 350 mg overall.
That’s over our recommended limit of 300 mg per serving. Sure the L-Theanine will handle it to some degree, but in our mind this is still too much.
A few revisions, could definitely be made here.

However, we think is has too many ingredients to give you the best benefits. Some of the nutrients in here are prone to causing side effects and that caffeine dosage of 350 mg is significant, especially when you realize there’s around 40 mg of caffeine in your average cup of coffee (the equivalent to drinking roughly 9 cups before a workout!).
The nootropic angle is a nice idea for promoting focus, but we feel it wasn’t fully thought out and could use some improvement.
If you’re prone to heart problems, definitely avoid it. If you’re a caffeine-junkie, try it at your own risk. Finally if you just want a balanced, enjoyable session that is both safe and satisfying – you may need to look elsewhere.
