Is Rejuva Brain a scam?
The product itself isn’t but some of the marketing for it definitely is.
We’re talking specifically about the fake news for Rejuva Brain.
There are several “news” articles out there that claims Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk have been using Rejuva Brain to double their IQ.
What’s even more troubling is that some of these reports are still being made years after Stephen Hawkings death.
If you’ve found this review after reading one of those article – there are a lot of them out there – forget everything they said.
This review should give you a better idea of what to expect. There is no fake celebrity hype here, we’re just looking at the ingredients, safety and if you should use it.
What are the ingredients in Rejuva Brain?
There are several ingredients in Rejuva Brain, many of which make up part of a proprietary blend.
A proprietary blend is when a supplement manufacturer chooses to hide the individual dosages of the ingredients in their supplement.
Instead, they are all grouped together under one larger dosage. This means you don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it will be overall.
Saying that there, are still some good options in this nootropic. It’s just a shame that we don’t know the dosages to them.
Below, we look at the main ingredients in this supplement, along with our summary and suggestions on how it may be improved.
- Acetyl L-Carnitine
This is a good support in Rejuva Brain, but its primary use is not to be used as a cognitive enhancer.
The main way it typically helps your health is by improving your energy, metabolism, and even focus.
However, you need a lot for it to work. Studies show that to get the best results from this amino acid is to take between 500 – 2500mg per daily serving.
- DMAE
This isn’t a great start to Rejuva Brain, DMAE is a nutrient which has been claimed to help reduce the effects of cognitive decline, however, further study shows that it may do more harm than good.
Research shows that it doesn’t do much when it comes to reducing cognitive decline, and beyond that it has even been seen to cause side effects in rat studies.
We’ll go into more details on that later, as there are no human studies out there with DMAE to compare it to.
- N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
Also known as NALT. This is an amino acid in Rejuva Brain which can help reduce stress and also improve the overall effectiveness of this nootropic.
Studies show that it can help optmize the chemicals in your brain for maximum performance while also helping to reduce your overall levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
This allows you to concentrate for longer, and keep your mood elevated to get more done.
- Water Hyssop (Bacopa Monnieri)
Bacopa is a great addition in this Rejuva Brain review. Also known as Water Hyssop, Bacopa has been seen in several studies to help reduce anxiety while promote memory formation.
There’s a lot of evidence for its effects. Using it is a good aid for helping you through stressful situations. It allows you to keep a cooler head in high pressure environments which can be great in offices and business deals.
- Gingko Biloba
This is a less trustworthy ingredient in Rejuva Brain. Gingko Biloba has some claims to help promote cognition and focus – but there’s a problem.
It’s been seen to work well in some studies, but others show it to have no effect at all.
The effects seem to be subjective – not definitive. With this info, some reseachers believe that the benefits of Ginkgo Biloba may be more placebo than beneficial.
More study is needed but it doesn’t look good.
- Phosphatidylserine
The final ingredient in Rejuva Brain, and one of the more effective options in here.
Phosphatdylserine is a amino acid derivative that is use often in nootropics. Why? Because it works.
Studies show that it can help improve memory, focus, mood and even help prevent cognitive decline.
It’s great for improving your overall mindset.
- Rejuva Brain – What would we change?
The main ingredient that we think needs inspecting in Rejuva Brain is the DMAE.
This is because it has links to causing side effects. We explain that more in the next section. For now, we’ll say that it needs replacing with some better options.
Citicoline would be a great choice, it can help attention, memory, reduce cognitive decline, general focus, concentration and more.
It’s a very effective nootropic and it would be a great inclusion to this supplement.
We also think the Ginkgo Biloba could use replacing – mainly due to the conflicting studies about its effectiveness.
Maritime Pine Bark could help. It improves overall blood flow to the brian which improves the nutrient, blood, glucose and oxygen supply to your brain as well.
It’s ideal for seeing faster results.
Rejuva Brain Side Effects
The potential side effects of Rejuva Brain stem from the DMAE.
When supplemented, DMAE has been seen in rat studies to cause birth defects. If these results scale up, they could pose a problem for you if you are trying for a baby.
We suggest if you are pregnant, trying for a baby or passing on your DNA for any reason to not use Rejuva Brain for several months before.
It is better to be safe than sorry.

To use Rejuva Brain take 2 capsules once a day with a glass of water. Taking it in the morning should give you the best effects as you should reap the benefits day long.
How much does Rejuva Brain cost?
Rejuva Brain retails at $29.97 a bottle. This is relatively cheap for a nootropic.

As you can see, Rejuva Brain has some good ingredients but there are certain areas that really let it down.
The 3rd party marketing of this product claiming it was being used by Elon Musk and Stephen Hawking really hasn’t helped its reputation.
Aside from that, it’s a pretty standard nootropic. It covers a lot of the bases, but does make mistakes here and there. The main problem is the DMAE and Ginkgo. They make up a lot of this supplement and don’t do much to help it.
It would be better if they were replaced with more effective, study-backed ingredients.
