Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster: The Ingredients
There are a lot of ingredients in this supplement. Some good, some bad, and some ineffective.
The good ones are great, it’s just some of the other ingredients in Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster that are taking up space and holding them back.
We think some mild revisions to the formula of this supplement would help it a lot.
Below, we have our write up of the main ingredinets along with our summary, and suggestion section on how we would improve it:
This is a great start to Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster. Zinc is an effective mineral in the testosterone boosting process.
It works by being involved in various chemical reactions in your brain which helps to promote your overall levels of the Luteinizing Hormone (LH).
LH is your body’s precursor for growth hormone and testosterone. The more of this that you have in your system, the more support your testosterone levels have to grow.
It’s an effective addition here.
Another strong choice in Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster.
Fenugreek doesn’t directly promote testosterone levels, but it can help in other ways. It can help create a better hormonal environment for your testosterone levels to grow.
How does it do this?
By supplementing Fenugreek you can help to regulate your blood sugar, and by extension, your insulin levels. When your insulin levels are high, it creates a hormone imbalance which your body fixes by reducing your testosterone levels. This balancing act is known as homeostasis.
By using something like Fenugreek, you can help keep your blood sugar and insulin levels in check which can give your testosterone levels more support to rise.
It would be better in its D-Aspartic Acid form, but it should still be able to have some impact here.
Aspartic Acid can work in a similar way to Zinc, by this we mean it can be used for brain chemical reactions to create LH.
Again, the more support your LH has, the more support your testosterone levels and growth hormone have.
This isn’t a testosterone boosting ingredient in Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster. It’s not even much of a muscle builder.
Although whey protein can help as a building block for muscle after a workout – there’s a very small amount in here. It’s unlikely to make a lot of difference.
If you want to see results from whey protein, you may need to take it in a larger amount.
Side Note: Personally, we don’t tend to use protein shakes. We find them to be bloating, overrated, and potentially something that may lower your testosterone levels. This is mainly because too much protein can boost your overall levels of your stress hormone cortisol, as it is a lot for your body to process.
Ideally, you should get your protein sources from whole foods like lean chicken, tofu, lentils, chickpeas and more.
This is a better choice for helping to raise your testosterone levels.
Mucuna Pruriens are a good addition to Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster as they too help to promote your LH levels.
After consuming Mucuna Pruriens (aka Velvet Bean) it can help boost your levels of Gonadotropin-releasing Hormone (GnRH) which is a precursor to LH.
It’s another method to naturally raise your LH which can result in higher testosterone levels.
This is a naturally occurring hormone that is already in your body, but this may or may not be a good thing for your testosterone levels.
Why is it a risky choice i n Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster?
We find it to be risky because DHEA appears to work as a regulator between your testosterone and estrogen levels (the female hormone). This may result in reducing your testosterone levels and boosting your estrogen to create a better balance. It can go either way, and not always in the way that you desire.
Be careful using this ingredient.
This is a nice addition to Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster. Boron has been seen in numerous studies to help with both testosterone and estrogen levels.
Supplementing even small amounts has resulted in a boost of serum testosterone and a reduction in estrogen.
It seems to be pretty reliable, and we look forward to more evidence as it comes out.
This however, is not a strong choice in Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster. Tribulus Terrestris is one of the ingredients in this supplement that doesn’t do much at all.
Studies show that the only times that Tribulus has been seen to boost testosterone in humans is when their testosterone levels were very low and they were infertile. Even then the results were mild.
This does not reflect the average guy looking to raise their testosterone levels. The only time it works well is in animals studies.
It’s unlikely to give you much benefit here. The only way that it could work for you here is by giving you a mild boost in libido.
This isn’t a great choice in Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster. L-Arginine is an amino acid which may promote blood flow and absorption but we don’t think that will be the case here.
Because studies show that it is very hard to absorb when supplementing it straight.
Ideally, you want to be taking a precursor to L-Arginine so you can raise your internal levels in your system. L-Citrulline is a great choice for this, it’s easy to absorb and promotes L-Arginine.
L-Citrulline would’ve been a better choice here – although we can understand why it hasn’t been used – you need a lot of it for it to work.
Horny Goat Weed
This isn’t a strong addition to Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster either.
Horny Goat Weed (also known as Epimedium) is a herb which has claims to promoting testosterone and libido.
Studies have yet to show this herb promoting T in humans. It may help libido, but if you’re looking for a testosterone booster, you’re not going to get one from this ingredient.
This isn’t a testosterone booster in Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster – it’s more of a male health aid.
By that we mean it can help with other issues like libido and fertility. Supplementing Maca has been seen to help improve sperm quality in infertile men and raise libido.
It won’t help testosterone, but it’s a nice addition to this supplement.
Also known as Eurycoma Longifolia and Tongkat Ali, this isn’t the best ingredient in Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster.
It’s thought to help promote testosterone levels, but the actual studies show differently. Longjack has only helped testosterone in animal studies – not human studies.
The only thing that it may do for you in Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster is mildly improve your libido levels. Aside from that, don’t expect much from this testosterone booster.
Ingredient Overview: Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster
On the whole, there are some good ingredients in this supplement, but there’s also a lot of wastage here.
Don’t get us wrong, we love the Zinc, Aspartic Acid, Mucuna Pruriens and the Fenugreek – but we feel they are the only hard hitters in Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster.
A lot of the other ingredients in here could be lost to focus more on boosting testosterone levels, rather than focusing on libido.
It’s a shame that this supplement isn’t more concise with its goals.
Are there any side effects from using Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster?
The only thing we would say to be careful of is the DHEA. This is now a banned substance in some sporting organizations and from over the counter sales by the FDA.
There are some concerns that it may accelerate cancers. It may or may not raise your testosterone, or it may do the reverse and raise your estrogen levels.
It’s a risky ingredient to take and we don’t recommend using it.
What would touchingheartstouchingminds.com change about Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster?
The main things that we would do is to remove more of the libido boosters and add in some more testosterone boosters.
One thing we would remove is the DHEA. It carries some risks that we don’t approve of.
We’d be beefing up the Mucuna Pruriens and turning the Aspartic Acid into a D-Aspartic Acid form for better results.
Another ingredient that we would add is Ashwagandha. It, like Fenugreek, also helps to create a better hormonal environment. It doesn this by helping to regulate your overall levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
When your stress levels are high, so are your cortisol levels. Like insulin, this can help to reduce your overall amount of testosterone.
By using Ashwagandha, you can help get a better calmer mood, but also create a better ground for your testosterone levels to rise.
Lean Nutraceuticals Natural Testosterone Booster Review Summary
Overall, this is a supplement with a lot of promise, but we think some changes need making before we can fully recommend it.
DHEA is something that we would like to see removed for health reasons, and some of the other ingredients too – but that’s down to their effectiveness.
There are plenty of ingredients in here that could make this supplement a good choice – but there’s definite room for improvement first.
At the moment, we firmly believe that there are plenty of better options out there.
