Nugenix contains some good ingredients like Zinc and Fenugreek, but whether it is actually good is subjective.
If you’ve read our Nugenix review, you’ll already know our thoughts on the matter. We think there are plenty of other better alternatives out there in Nugenix’s price range.
So what makes a good testosterone booster, and what are the pros and cons of Nugenix that stops it from being our top option?
What does Nugenix do for a man?
Nugenix is a natural testosterone booster. It is claimed to help raise your levels of the male hormone, which can in turn promote:
- Energy
- Muscle Mass
- Libido
However, these are only the claims. The effects of this testosterone booster may not be equal to this in terms of your results.
There are several factors in Nugenix Testosterone Booster that we believe could be improved to help deliver a better impact.
How could Nugenix be better?
Several areas where the Nugenix Testosterone Booster could be better include the ingredients, ingredient transparency and the servings.
When it comes to the ingredients of Nugenix, the main nutrients that have the studies to perform are the Fenugreek and the Zinc.
Unfortunately, there is only 1 mg of Zinc in Nugenix and the Fenugreek is part of a proprietary blend.
You don’t know how much you’re getting of what works, and what little you do know shows that it’s not a lot.
Which leads us to our next point: ingredient transparency.
The majority of the dosages in Nugenix are in a proprietary blend. This is when a supplement manufacturer chooses to hide the individual dosages in their testosterone booster.
Instead, numerous ingredients are put together under one larger proprietary blend. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it may be overall.
Finally the servings, there’s only one serving of 3 capsules a day with Nugenix. It’s a big dosage, but servings should be spaced out throughout the day. This helps give your body a constant supply of the nutrients you need to keep your testosterone levels constantly on the rise.
It’s a shame that Nugenix is not set up to work like this.
