Blue Star Status: The Ingredients
There are quite a few ingredients in Blue Star Status, however, not all of them boost testosterone.
It appears quite a lot of this testosterone booster appeals to raising libido rather than T. This isn’t too much of a problem, but if you’re main goal here is to boost T and muscle mass it may not be the best option for you.
Below, we look at the the ingredients in this supplement, give you a summary and follow up with any suggestions we have of on how it could be better.
Take a look:
This is a great start to Blue Star Status. Magnesium is an effective mineral for helping to promote your levels of free testosterone.
It does this by interacting with a protein in your blood known as Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG).
SHBG binds to the testosterone in your blood and removes its anabolic potency. This is not a good thing – it makes the affected testosterone useless.
However, magnesium can inhibit the SHBG and reduce it’s overall influence. This can allow more testosterone to circulate freely throughout our system.
Another good addition to Blue Star Status. Zinc is a mineral which can help to promote your overall levels of testosterone.
It does this by various chemical reactions in your brain which can help increase your overall levels of Luteinizing Hormone (LH). LH is your body’s precursor to both growth hormone and testosterone. The more of it you have in your system, the more support your testosterone levels have to grow.
This is a good choice in Blue Star Status too. Ashwagandha offers good herbal support to your testosterone levels.
It does this by helping to regulate a hormone in your body known as cortisol. This is your body’s stress hormone. When your levels of it are high, your body has to lower your testosterone levels to avoid a hormonal imbalance. This is known as homeostasis.
By using something like Ashwagandha, you can help keep your cortisol levels low and give yourself a better hormonal environment for your testosterone to rise.
This isn’t a strong ingredient in Blue Star Status, however. Longjack (also known as Eurycoma Longifolia and Tongkat Ali) is a nutrient which has many claims made about it regarding testosterone – but not a lot of evidence.
There are some studies which show that it can help to raise your levels of the male hormone, however, these are only in animal studies. These results have not been seen to scale up to human testing.
The only thing that it may do for you here is mildly improve your libido and sex drive.
This is a slightly more promising nutrient in Blue Star Status. DIM is a component which is typically found in green vegetables like broccoli. Although it doesn’t help to raise testosterone, it can support you in other ways.
The main benefit of DIM is that it may be able to help as an estrogen suppressant. It has been seen in some cases to work as an aromatase inhibitor which would help suppress the production of estrogen.
Research is still being done, but the preliminary findings are looking good.
This is a better option in Blue Star Status, like Ashwagandha it can help give you a better hormonal environment for your testosterone levels to grow.
The main way that it works is by helping to reduce and regulate your levels of insulin. Much like cortisol, when your blood sugar and insulin levels are too high, the imbalance makes your body lower your testosterone levels to handle it.
With your insulin levels under more control, your testosterone levels have more support to grow with less holding them back.
Fenugreek has also been seen in some cases to help with blood flow and libido, which is an added benefit here.
This isn’t a testosterone booster in Blue Star Status. Bioperine is black pepper, although it shouldn’t be underestimated – this has advantages of its own.
Black Pepper can help increase your body’s bioavailability and absorption. This can help improve the amount of nutrients your body absorbs from Blue Star Status and how fast they take to activate in your system.
It’s a good support for helping you get more out of this supplement.
AstraGin (Ginseng & Astragalus)
The final ingredient that we’re covering in our Blue Star Status review. Astragin is a combination of Ginseng and Astragalus.
These nutrients can both help by improving your overall blood and nutrient flow. Like Black Pepper this can help with absorption and getting more out of the nutrients in this supplement.
It’s a nice support, but may not do too much when it comes to your testosterone levels.
Ingredient Overview for Blue Star Status
There are some good ingredients in this supplement, namely the magnesium, zinc and ashwagandha. We also like the fengureek in here too.
However, the rest of the ingredients appear to be more supportive aids than actual testosterone boosters.
We think a lot more could be added to Blue Star Status to make it a much more potent and effective testosterone booster – mainly by focusing on ingredients that directly boost your levels of the male hormone.
Is Blue Star Status safe to use?
We think so, all the ingredients check out and appear safe at these dosages.
However, we can’t say that it is safe for everyone. Everybody reacts differently to supplements and you can never rule out a problem.
If you have any concerns, allergies or preexisting conditions, we suggest that you speak to your doctor before supplementing Blue Star Status. You don’t want to run into any trouble.
What would touchingheartstouchingminds.com change about Blue Star Status?
The main thing that we would do is add more ingredients which focus on boosting your levels of the Luteinizing Hormone (LH). As we’ve mentioned this can help to raise your levels of testosterone and growth hormone.
Good additions which would do this along side Zinc are D-Aspartic Acid and Mucuna Pruriens.
DAA works in a similar way to Zinc, your body uses it for reactions in your brain which helps yield more LH.
Whereas Mucuna Pruriens (aka Velvet Bean) raises your body’s levels of the Gonadotropin-releasing Hormone (GnRH) which is your precursor to LH. All together these would help give you a good amount of LH.
Secondly, we think Luteolin woud be a good addition here. It’s another aromatase inhibitor which would help support suppressing estrogen alongside DIM.
These are what we think Blue Star Status needs for an extra kick.
Blue Star Status Review Summary
As you can see, there are some good points to Blue Star Status, but also some room for improvement.
The main thing we would say about this supplement is that it needs less libido enhancing qualities and more testosterone boosting ingredients.
This would help you get the most out of it.
In our opinion, we think there are better choices out there on the market if you want maximum results.
